The Underdogs Training Are Award Winners!
I am excited to announce that I have been honoured with an award! We are the proud recipients of Small Business Sunday, a weekly competition hosted and supported by Theo Paphitis. This is a huge achievement for me and I wanted to share my excitement with you, my wonderful blind dog owners! Thank you for all your continued support over the years – without it none of this would’ve been possible!
Celebrating My Small Business Sunday Award
I am thrilled to celebrate the Small Business Sunday Award! It was a journey filled with hard work to reach this moment and I am so proud of this achievement. I even went to an event in Birmingham to meet the well-known retail entrepreneur, Theo Paphitis, himself and get my certificate. I started this venture with a vision to create something of value and I am excited for the future ahead in business. I am grateful for this recognition from Theo Paphitis that acknowledges the contributions I have made!
How We Won the Award
We are so excited to have been chosen as one of the six weekly @TheoPaphitis Small Business Sunday winners! As first-timers, we never expected to get chosen out of the thousands who post about their businesses each week – only 0.8% of those that enter are chosen. We posted our first Instagram post last year and all those hours of hard work paid off with this amazing award! Thank you so much Theo!
Recognizing the Support of Our Customers
With immense gratitude, I thank each and every one of our customers for their unwavering support throughout this amazing journey. It was always a dream to own my own business and be successful – thank you for allowing me the opportunity to make a difference in people’s (and dog’s!) lives. The incredible recognition of winning the Small Business Sunday Award from Theo Paphitis is a testament to all the wonderful customers who have shown me love and loyalty and enabled me to provide extraordinary service. Thank you for standing with me through the good times and bad. I am forever grateful!
What Being an Award Winner Means for Me & Our Community
Receiving this honour has had an immense impact on me and our whole community; thanks to more visibility, more resources can be dedicated towards helping more blind dogs. Additionally, we now have more opportunities to educate others with home-made online courses and long term I want to create beautiful blind dog merch that spreads awareness of—and celebrates—these incredible dogs. I’m so grateful for the recognition and thank my supporters who continually inspire this work.
What’s Next for The Underdogs Training
I was founded with the mission of helping blind dogs on a global level and I’m so happy to now be in a position where I can fulfil my goal even more. My plan is to keep working hard to help and support those that need it. I am always looking for ways to improve and be better. Here’s to more success in the future!
I am overjoyed to be the recipient of this prestigious award, and it is a testament to resilience and determination in the face of these unprecedented times. I have so much great stuff in store for our valued customers, so don’t hesitate to reach out and get in touch to see how I can help you. Winning this award also means that I can contribute back to our local community in more meaningful ways. I currently work alongside the charity Blind Dog Rescue and give 10% of the profits from my online course “Help! My Dog Has Gone Blind!”. I look forward to being able to give back even more in what promises to be an exciting year ahead!
